We aimed to recreate this magic when we organized a family-friendly residential conference for our client. We sought a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where individuals could connect, celebrate, and forge new friendships. The challenge lies in creating an atmosphere that balances education, entertainment, and relaxation for attendees of all ages.
We settled on a charming countryside estate encompassed by lush gardens and picturesque landscapes: De Vere Wokefield Estate. This picturesque and historic hotel and conference venue is located in Berkshire, England. Set amidst 250 acres of stunning parkland, this sprawling estate offers a tranquil retreat away from the clamour of city life.
The estate boasts a rich history dating back to the 1560s when it was originally built as a mansion. Over the centuries, it has been carefully restored and transformed into a luxurious hotel that combines modern comforts with traditional charm. Accommodations at De Vere Wokefield Estate range from stylish and contemporary rooms to spacious suites, all designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Each room is well-appointed, offering modern amenities, plush furnishings, and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. For dining, the estate features a variety of options to suit every palate.
De Vere Wokefield Estate is also renowned for its extensive leisure facilities. Guests can take advantage of the 18-hole championship golf course, perfect for golf enthusiasts of all levels. The estate also offers a state-of-the-art gym, an indoor pool, tennis courts, and scenic walking trails, providing ample opportunities for relaxation, fitness, and outdoor activities. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with warm smiles and a seamless check-in process. Welcoming areas were adorned with stylish decorations, creating an inviting atmosphere for socializing. As a personal touch, we had the venue illuminate the conference name and theme on the floor by the reception desk. Attendees received personalized name badges and event materials, fostering a sense of belonging and facilitating introductions among the participants.
A standout feature of this conference was the parallel children's program that ran alongside the main conference. Professional child educators and entertainers orchestrated a vibrant curriculum of age-appropriate activities, combining learning and fun. Miss Googiepants, a spectacular performer, radiated joy for the children through fun stories, silly poems, and music.
With a dedicated kids’ zone, Miss Googiepants entertained the children thoroughly. And they eagerly participated in arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor games, allowing parents to attend sessions without worry.
At the heart of the conference was a series of engaging discussions and interactive sessions that covered a wide range of topics, catering to the diverse interests of the attendees. These sessions encouraged open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and personal growth, igniting intellectual curiosity and fostering a sense of community.

A vendor exhibition brought together a diverse range of businesses, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. This exhibition served as a platform to showcase innovative products, foster collaboration, and create meaningful connections. The event not only celebrated the achievements of the participating vendors but also provided attendees with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and inspiration for future collaborations.
Our exhibitors included brands like Kwattswap, a brand taking on the global challenge of improving the environment and people’s lives in the developing world by swapping dirty and harmful power consumption for clean renewable energy. Project Renew, another brand, is on a mission to renew, rejuvenate and restore hope for nurses and frontline health workers all over the globe.
Tribe Alef and London in a Box were other exhibitors featured among others. Tribe Alef is a community-based brand that connects and captures the original sound of every tribe and sends out its vibes through its range of unique and traditional jewellery pieces. And London in a Box is a souvenir shop that literally provides the experience of London in a box.
Our sister company Brandgelize was another brand at the exhibition. Brandgelize specializes in event branding, design, logos, and branded corporate gifts. They were on hand to assist us with creating the various elements of the exhibition. And they aided several brands in setting up their display.
In addition, digital services are Brandgelize’s expertise. The conference was captured through their video production team. They also offered online interactive brochures, which allowed the attendees to view the conference, its theme, venue, and amenities before registration.
We chose a spacious and modern event space with ample room for vendors to set up engaging booths, product displays, and interactive demonstrations. The venue layout was meticulously designed to facilitate easy navigation and encourage exploration. Vendor booths were arranged strategically to maximize visibility and flow. Thoughtful consideration was given to aesthetics, lighting, and signage to create an inviting atmosphere that would captivate attendees.
To enhance attendee engagement, we incorporated interactive elements and experiential activities throughout the exhibition, including product demonstrations. By carefully curating vendors, providing support, and designing an engaging environment, we created a platform for businesses to showcase their offerings and forge meaningful connections.
In addition, conference meetings provided a platform for industry professionals to convene, collaborate, and discuss emerging trends and challenges. Meticulous attention was given to creating a conducive environment for productive discussions.
