As a digital creator, the prospect of working on-site at a luxury event was a novel experience that would challenge everything I knew about professional environments. The event in question was a milestone 50th birthday celebration for a high-profile client, held at the prestigious Mayfair Hotel in London. Luxury cars were lining up in front of the hotel in a spectacular display that resembled an exclusive car exhibition. At around late afternoon the photographer arrived with his professional equipment and we began the photoshoot with the celebrant, utilising every aspect of our luxurious setting to create images worthy of the occasion.

The photoshoot became an event within the event, where every shot was composed to reflect not just the celebration, but the lifestyle and aesthetic sensibilities that defined this particular gathering.
